01 · Before and after
Same clubs. Same online join. Then iJoin.
We pulled every membership agreement at five of the franchise's clubs from its membership billing system. Each agreement records how it was entered: at the front desk, through the billing system's own web join, or through our online checkout.
From January 2020 until August 2023 these clubs already had our online checkout, and it took 40% of joins. Then they moved to iJoin.
29,636 joins
23,204 joins
Share of all new agreements in each period at the same five clubs.
Each bar is one month's share of new agreements made online through our checkout. The April 2020 spike is when the clubs were closed and online was the only way to join. 2026 runs through October 26.
The month iJoin went live, the online share went from 46% to 53%. It reached 74% in July 2024 and hasn't dropped below 47% in any month since. Front desk entry fell from 53% of joins to 33%.
The online option was there the whole time, so the jump isn't explained by going online. The billing system's own web join, the closest thing to a plain online form, stayed at 8% before and after.
02 · What iJoin does
Two jobs: the join, and the lost join
A checkout that looks like the brand, lives on the brand's site, and writes the member straight into the club's system. Every join is tracked back to where it came from.
The name, email and phone are saved as soon as someone starts, so a person who stops halfway becomes a lead the club can follow up the same day.
03 · Part one at work, 2026
People join when the desk is closed
Across every location of the franchise, from January 1 to October 24, 2026, 67,303 people started an iJoin checkout and 32,019 finished it, a 47.6% completion rate.
32,132 completed online joins, by the hour the checkout recorded. 38% came after 6pm and 24% on weekends.
Almost 4 in 10 online joins happened after 6pm, and nearly 1 in 4 on a Saturday or Sunday.
04 · Part two at work, 2026
A lost join is still a lead
35,284 people started a checkout this year and didn't finish. iJoin saved every one of them with a name, email and phone number, so the club can follow up. With an off-site checkout, those people are gone.
We also checked whether they come back and finish on their own. Almost none do: under 1% of a month's lost joins complete online in the following three months. That's why the capture matters, and why the follow-up has to start the same day.
iJoin for your brand
If your members check out on someone else's page, the sale can't be tracked back to the ad, and a purchase someone abandons leaves no lead. iJoin puts the join on your site, on your own membership data, with lost-join capture built in.
